On a soft autumn morning, wrapped in natural light, ÉPURÉ came to life — an inspiration shoot designed as a visual artwork at Château de Garde, in the Bordeaux region. Blending minimal elegance, modern lines and couture ambiance, this project — featured on ALBE Editions — explores a refined, contemporary vision of the wedding aesthetic. As the filmmaker, my intention was to capture a wedding that feels like a film: precise, graphic, and emotionally resonant.

A Timeless Setting: Château de Garde

Nestled in the Bordeaux vineyards, Château de Garde offers luminous architecture, generous spaces and a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. For ÉPURÉ, this venue became an obvious choice: its pure lines, soft light and neutral tones perfectly embody a minimalist and refined direction.

As photographer and project originator Yann Falempin explains:“White dominates — a symbol of purity and light. A light that vibrates against the Château’s stone walls.”

This brightness, beautifully carried by the venue’s interiors, allowed us to imagine a universe where every detail breathes simplicity and elegance.

The Concept “ÉPURÉ”: Beauty, Minimalism & Fashion Influence

The name ÉPURÉ says it all: everything was designed to highlight light, textures and modern silhouettes. Two main looks guided the artistic direction — a contemporary, sculptural gown and a structured white jumpsuit. The overall atmosphere is resolutely editorial: sculpted poses, intentional movements, strong yet subtle accessories, and a couture sensibility.

Smoke accents, elegant flatlays and fashion-driven details serve a creative direction influenced by high-end editorials. My role was to translate this intention into motion — turning still images into fluid storytelling.

Two Films, Two Visual Identities

To express the universe of this project, I created two distinct film versions:

1. The Wedding Story Film

A cinematic take on a real wedding day, featuring:– intimate moments,– soft, natural movement,– fluid camera work,– light, timeless color grading.

This version speaks to couples who want an elegant, emotional and modern film — without compromising authenticity.

2. The Editorial Fashion Clip

Stronger, sharper, more graphic. This cut includes:– dynamic editing,– bold compositions,– fashion-inspired direction and pacing.

It is a creative vision of a wedding through a fashion lens — ideal for designers, brands and couples with a couture sensibility.

Filmmaking Approach & Technical Intentions

For ÉPURÉ, I worked primarily with natural light and wide compositions, letting the venue breathe and speak. The camera moves with intention — smooth, precise, never overwhelming. The edit contrasts softness with the energy of a fashion piece, balancing emotion and style.

The project is built around a few guiding principles:

  • Let the venue shine — no unnecessary décor, nothing superfluous.

  • Use light as the main storytelling tool.

  • Approach a wedding like an art film — every frame must have purpose.

This vision reflects my style: a blend of cinema, editorial direction and modern storytelling.

A Collaboration Highlighted by ALBE Editions

ÉPURÉ was proudly featured on ALBE Editions, showcasing the concept, the venue and the creative team behind this project.Seeing it live beyond the shoot — through a platform that celebrates style and artistry — is a true honor.

Special thanks to all the talented contributors, including:– Yann Falempin, photographer and artistic director– Designers and accessory creators– Château de Garde, for their warm welcome and inspiring atmosphere

Conclusion: A Wedding Seen as a Visual Work of Art

ÉPURÉ is more than an inspiration shoot — it is a vision.A testament that a wedding can be filmed like an editorial, like a film, like a piece of art — without losing its soul or emotion.

If you dream of a wedding film that blends fashioncinema and timeless elegance, at Château de Garde or elsewhere, I would be honored to capture it.
